The Border Collie is the champion Frisbee player of the world! This breed thrives best in farms and ranches because they love wide open spaces and because of their excellent herding abilities. The Border Collie is highly intelligent, energetic and a responsive dog, especially to its master. It is a medium sized dog with a tapered muzzle and half-perked ears. The coat can be either sleek or coarse and comes in black and white, tricolor, red and white, black and gray and all black. . The males stand between 19-22 inches and weigh about 30-45 pounds while the females stand between 18-21 inches with a weight ranging form 27 to 42 pounds. This breed originated in Great Britain and is highly trainable. They also have alot of energy and great stamina. They excel at obedience, agility and of course Frisbee! |
