This is an odd little dog with the heart of a lion and the appearance of a lamb. He has a strange, pear-shaped head, an arched back and a curly coat, The thick coat comes in blue, liver or sandy. He may also have some tan markings over the eyes and on the legs. His height is only about 16 to 17 inches and the weight is about 18 to 23 pounds. Playful and cheerful, the Bedlington Terrier is good with children and fairly nice to strangers. They don't get along too well, with cats however! This is a tough little cookie, courageous and energetic, with the ability to run extremely fast. He also loves to dig so be careful about that garden! This breed will do okay in an apartment if you are willing to give him regular walks. Still, they like to bark and can be a little high-strung. Don't let this guy off his leash unless its in an enclosed area. He might be gone in a flash! |
