Default Traveling with Pets

It is great to be able to take small pet almost everywhere these days, on a plane and even on the subway and buses in NYC---Unfortunately, the bigger train lines like Amtrack haven't caught on---they still don't allow pets! What's with that?

Default travel

I agree. If only Amtrack would allow dogs...that would have saved us driving to and from Maine - 2 1/2 days each way. Fritz and Fanny are great little travelers, however. It's also 30 - 40.00 each night on the road just for them. Most rest stops have a dog area so that's nice. They got one hamburger each as a treat each way - no buns and no condiments! No preference between fast food companies either!
