American Eskimo Dog Breeders



The American Eskimo is a beautiful, snowy white dog. There are three varieties: the toy, miniature, and standard. That means there is an "Eskie" for all interests and types of environment. The coat is always white, sometimes with cream markings and is especially heavy around the neck which creates a distinctive mane, especially in the males. They can stand anywhere from 9 and 19 inches depending on the variety and they are known for being very charming and affectionate. Hardy and playful, they are excellent with children. They are also extremely alert and very easy to train. This dog might not appreciate a visitor in the house until you say "Its all right Eskie!" but, if you are willing to spend the time and get him trained, these dogs rank among the top scorers in obedience trials. With just a little time spent, you will be saying "Good dog Eskie!"
